While Social on Sixth is a new venture, it’s been a dream in the making a very long time. My parents always told me I was an “old soul” and I was “born too late”.

My love for everything vintage is the perfect fit to launching the unique, historic location downtown. Finally a chance to dust off my collections of linens and dishes and share them through special events! When a table is set “old school” with china, silverware, delicate stemware, it creates an experience.

I remember dusting my mom’s finer dishes more than using them. I adore that feeling of sitting at a beautiful table that was set with purpose and now a meal will be served with love and attention.

It’s also the reason I’ve named every set of china after the women who used it or who they came from! I have MCM dishes I call The Betty (as in Draper). I also have The Marilyn (my mom’s mom dishes), The Ruth, The Jessie Lynn, and The Agnes, just to name a few.
